Diablo II game issues? How to use a game patch!?
I have Windows XP, and I want to play Diablo II, but it says “Windows 2000/98/95/NT Macintosh” on the CD-ROM. So I installed it anyways, and it loads, but after I type in my characters name it goes to the loading screen with a hooded person standing in front of a big building with light coming out of the doorway and it freezes there.
I downloaded the Diablo II Game Patch from Blizzard Ent. but its still doing the same thing.
Any computer geeks out there know how to fix this?
basically how to run a game not made for XP, on XP. lol
XP is pretty friendly for older games so I dont know if that would be the problem. Figure out what video card you have and go to their website and make sure you have the most up to date software for the device. This is known to fix many computer game issues
