Cost to re-take or re-transmission shaft golf clubs?
I have a set of Ping Eye 2 irons. They are the original grips and shafts in a time late 80s. My father used them for 7-10 rounds a year for a few years after arriving they then sat in the garage. So heads are in good shape and the grooves are good at what I can say. So I'd like to get hold of re – insurance. How much does this club if I get a grip Lamkin which costs about $ 3.00 per grip? They have a Ping ZZ Lite shaft in them. The shaft is not damaged, but I'm sure it is outdated. So how much is the work (not including delivery) in regripping and reshafting clubs? In a few of the prices I've seen online, it looks like I can do this for about $ 180, seem about right? I'll regripping 10 clubs and 6 clubs reshafting. Ping does not offer any discount on new grips or shafts or anything that leads me to an authorized repair shop Ping? Do I really need my new wells Pured or aligned or whatever? Or is it just a way to get more money?
Having never seen the club … Ping ZZ Lite shaft was and remains a good of the whole shaft. If no dents or rust that I reshafted them. Regripped is easy there are plenty online tutorials that will teach you how regrip a club, so just be out the cost of the cuffs, double-sided adhesive tape, and some alcohols minerals …. You can probably get all regripped for about $ 35.00 and be happy as a lark. If you decide to get these clubs want to send reshafted Ping directly back to …. reshafting Ping irons should not be attempted by local clubfitter … to be addressed by the experts … and not worry about the backbone of harmonization or any of those things … unless the top 50 player in the world will never notice a difference! good luck!
