Any advice for a beginner in connection with golf clubs?
I used to play golf before, played with a set of leaf Spalding, do not go well, and never really hit the ball well. Now 10 years later, I find myself wanting to learn the game again. I'm torn between 3 decisions: Plan A is to buy a rear cavity 7 of wood and iron, and learn from the 2 clubs. Once re-learn, invest in a good set of used irons. Plan B is to buy a cheap 2nd set my hand, but the 2nd-level, such as Dunlop, Spalding, Wilson. The brand name is not exactly what my friend told me, but good enough. Plan C was the suggesting a store, buy a set of clones, learn from them, and when ready, buy the real deal. Which of these actually help me again learn the game? " Plan A seems to be a good investment if ever I learn that golf is not my game. Plan B sounds like a good idea because after a few weeks, I can use these clubs to "practice" a round too. Plan C sounds good and I'm playing a complete game to the names of some of the brand. What do you think?
I also re-beginner. I bought a set of Wilson's $ 200 destination and have not looked back. They are a large training set, and that receives every club you need and a bag (you may have to buy a separate putter). Since I have an progressed in my game, I bought a better driver, putter, and wedges and now I'm ready to start improving my irons. With clones that have yet to piece at a time (having to buy irons, woods, drivers, wedges, putter and bag separately). It is expensive for the beginning golfer who constantly has to replace a lost ball. Not only buy two clubs to re-learn the game, either. For a real idea of the need for options in his game bag. I love the game because of those once in a while I make pictures with a low iron or wedge. It'sa great feeling to put a pitching wedge to three meters from the pin.
