The Nissan GT-R began as the GT-R Proto, but this year, Nissan is making your car a reality. For 2009, Nissan is launching the new GT-R complete with a cost / benefit R35 chassis. The expected output range for the car is between 450 to 550 vehicles at the top and should produce 480 HPS. With the car weighing about 3,500 pounds, the power to weight ratio is about 7 to 1, the same as the 911 Turbo of Germany.
The Nissan GT-R is the closest that a Japanese manufacturer has come up with that resembles a European vehicle made.
