What's my name?
1. I was born in the same small Texas town as the famous singer Janis Joplin, but I was almost 32 years earlier she. 2. I was an athlete who won two Olympic gold medals and one silver at the Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, but I was a star in at least seven different sports. 3. I was also a singer and harmonica performer with at least one that sold quite well. I would say his name but then I guess mine too easily. 4. After I got interested in golf, who became a celebrity, winner of 82 golf tournaments and win a place in the Hall of Fame Golf. 5. There is a golf course in Florida today that I bought in 1947. Today it still has my name on it. 6. I have an interesting nickname that I earned by my ability hitting the baseball. I hope you can guess.
