What would be the average price for a full-size drumset at a garage sale?
I am going to be leaving to go to a garage sale in my neighborhood, and they have a full-size drumset up for sale. I would really, really like to get it, but my mom says to check what might be the price. Can anyone help me?
The first answerer sounds about right. You can always go to a music store and find a starter set for $400.00 – $700.00. And research on what set you want, some people will try to rip you off, especially on cymbals (some sound like trash cans).
A 5-piece set is the cheapest you can get:
2 Tom-toms
1 snare drum
1 hi-hat
1 kick (bass)
1 floor tom
1 crash cymbal
(I know it looks like more than 5, but that is your basic 5-piece set)
