I have some materials to build a catapult, and must be effective. Help?
With the need for the following supplies to build a catapult / Trebuchet / Siege engine / Mangonel. I can only use the following supplies, and should launch a golf ball at least 75 feet to the first point of impact on the ground. How exactly am I supposed to do? Chain Unlimited, cardboard and paper. 1 bag of rubber bands 1 roll of tape from 4 to 5 sticks pencils (number N greater than 1 meter and no another dimension greater than 2 inches)
Hi, Tony, (1) .. With 3 sticks in a tripod. Tied at the top with string .. (2) Attach another level stick between the 2 legs of the tripod legs at the bottom (3) Tie a loop around the chain of 2 feet to the cross is linked by connecting the 2 ends chain together .. but not the sticks, about 2 / 3 the height of the legs (4) While standing in front of the 2 legs, enter the arm of the catapult, the ropes course, until the center of the arm or stick (5) begin now to "adjust" the loop of rope, pushing the upper arm "away" from you, take half-time lower arm and lifts it toward you, then press the top up and away from you again, .. Make a long "chain" of some rubber bands .. not much to First, maybe 6 feet ..
