I hit a golf ball on the tee on the mountain. Can you declare it unplayable to the "T" and hit a provisional?

You can play a "provisional" ball unplayable. You can only play a tentative, if you think the ball may be lost or out of bounds. But if you know the ball will be playable, you can declare it unplayable and use of time and the option of distance before leaving the tee. This second ball becomes the ball in. You will not be able to play his first ball, even if it becomes unplayable. See Decision 28 / 1. A "provisional" ball means that if you find your first ball in bounds, you choose the meantime. In addition, you can not "declare" a stray bullet. If someone in your group, is, you should play.
