To eBay or not eBay is the question.?
I recently divorced and I have to pay the bills clean and garage. I do not want to do the work required to eBay or auctions.yahoo. I would use a service. The closest store to my eBay There 4 U has a 35% commission on sales and I think that is too strong, what are my options? I have high-tech electronics, golf clubs, 1940, 50 albums, Power Washing, just stuff! What is Pawn? All comments will be appreciated.
The easiest way of turning things to be a yard / garage sale, but you can not get much money for their things as you like. Ebay like the "service" businesses (and you're right, 35% is disgusting). Pawnshops are an alternative, but unless its cooler, more recent than likely already has 10 of what you are offering and give dollar minimum. The best option in my opinion would be actually run ads in your local newspaper. Most put an advertisement for a sale price up, and usually gets what he wants, or close to it. Some documents (As my local St. Louis Post Dispatch) allows advertising of items under $ 200 for free. Do some research, you do not want to cheat yourself out of easy money.
