Tips for a new golfer … whether to buy new clubs?
Ok, I am a fairly new player. It took years and then stopped after only 6 months. Then began again last month. Anyway, I always shoot in the 110-120s have played only about 4 full rounds and about 20 rounds progress. I bought some price clubs on E-Bay years ago (Dunlop) and still use them. Is it worth spending $ 800 + on a new set of high-end clubs (Ping, Callaway, etc)? Will it make a difference in my game? A friend of mine told me that it does not matter until you get better. Any thought of those who really play much golf. Oh, and yes, I took about 8 lessons from a professor at the PGA when I started. Thanks
It depends on the amount of equipment you might need. If you need 1 and 2 * in position or vertical plane which makes a big difference. If more or less need for a standard set then you are better to wait until get better because more than likely swing evolve as better. Go get a mount that will help shed light on what you need to do. Also if the juvenile Dunlop disadvantages are you see much better today shooting super game improvement irons, like the Taylor Made R7 Draw $ 599. But then, getting fit if you can use the club level you can make purchases on eBay and save a couple hundred dollars. i own the TaylorMade RAC OS2 and can be bought new for $ 350. I love my set.
