What it takes to be a golfer to college?
I am serious with the game a little over 2 years. In that time I brought my disability from 23 to 5. Im just starting my first year, and IM wondering what types of numbers that should make playing golf at a level competitive. I'm more concerned about academics, so if anyone knows what good academic schools also have programs of good golf is appreciated
If you want to play college golf in the first place now, you should play in competitive tournaments and playing for his high school team, if any. So the best way can play college golf is to get a scholarship, the best way to get a scholarship to attend the IJGA, the International Junior Golf Academy in Hilton Head, SC, and now there is a near the campus of San Luis Obispo, California, where Hank Haney, Tiger's coach is the head instructor. It's a full academy with academics, and you take your academic Heritage Academy in if you are going to school in Hilton Head, SC, so you can finish high school there, and you live in the bedrooms of the house with roomates also are students, and parents in the home. Students attending the IJGA are all aspiring golfers from around the world who want to play golf in college and I go for. Students IJGA to attend a school year or semester, so you can try to go next semester, or a senior. At the academy, you work on your game, playing, practicing, taking lessons, tips, and get coached by Hank Haney and his instructors. Then you play competitive tournaments with other students from the IJGT, International Golf Junior Tour, and that is where we see the schools for scholarships. Not everyone receives the IJGA scholarships, so if you do not, you can stay there for graduate program where is the same, to improve his game and go to school at the same time, and may even have a change to play golf to college and turn pro. There was a program The Golf Channel which shows lives of students in the IJGA starring Hank Haney. The show just ended, but you can see their ads when it is, but I recommend at least see video summaries online, or see if possible before considering going to IJGA. But IJGA is the best way I can play golf in college and turn pro. So we recommend attending if IJGA has the money and desire, and choose the campus closest to you, if you live near South Carolina or California, There are two universities to choose from. We must not lose this opportunity, especially if you has a 5 disability, and breaking 80, has a high possiblilty play golf in college, and is the best way that the university can play golf, go to the IJGA. You could, has a handicap 5 for most likely to be 80 competitvely break must be at least scoring in the low 90s if you want to go there, and you have a good change, so you should consider attending the IJGA. For more information IJGA about, and the program School Golf: Hilton Head Island in your website, you can watch videos of the show summaries, web sites are found sources below.
