Is street photography dangerous in Las Vegas?

Primariliy: In the strip, but also walking the northeast fringe of about Desert Pines Golf Club (my room around it). Rowdy drunks, irresponsible drivers … these are the concerns. What worries me most is that in reality malicious criminals try to mug someone on your camera.

I went to Vegas 17 times in the last 17 years mainly to take pictures. The danger of the film strip is being hit by taxi drivers and tourists watching the neon lights. Do not step on a road or parking lot taking photos unless 're in a place where you can not lose. It is also very cautious when you have to cross the street. Google shows 2 different directions to Desert Pines Golf Club, 3415 East 5995 Bonanza Road and Las Vegas Valley Bonanza Dr. The address is very close to the long strip of "pay by the week" motels on Fremont St. and I would not call it dangerous, but I would describe it as an area of urban decay. http://www.urbanphotos.net/images/vegas_cruise_fremont/ just to give you an idea of what is so. The address of Vegas Valley Drive may be more suburban, I'm not familiar with that area.
