what is the best golf course in las Vegas. We want best for “unusualness” rather than difficulty or price
For unusual, you want Wolf Creek.
I have friends that I go with to Vegas for an annual golf trip. They raved about this course. I played it, and found that it was too “tricked up” for me. But imagine playing golf in the Grand Canyon. LOTS of extreme elevation changes from tee to landing areas. 4-wheel disc brakes on the golf carts (don’t drive too fast, really). Pretty reasonable rates for the Vegas golf scene.
One of my friends said it was like playing golf on the moon. Even after I said that I had reservations about the course being a true test of golf, none of them would be deterred, they all still love it.
I actually think one of the holes is named “Vertigo”. Believe me, if any of your group suffers from it, they will not be able to step out on the tee box.
