What is a carpet of good golf to beat out in the backyard?
I have received a large network of driving my back yard for Christmas. Now comes the dilemma – How successful off? My grass definitely would not hold back the divots. So what we need is a good "turf Astro" hitting style mat. I bought everything and bought a strip of similar material, but the seller told me to fill with sand. However, we must continue to keep it filled with sand. I realize I need a good quality surface that prevents blow "bounce" of the golf club and more a replica of a chop. What can recommend?
I do not know how much you are looking to spend, but one of the best carpets of beating I ever used was called The Carpet Golf Vijay Singh. I do not actually own one, so I do not know about their maintenance. I can say though that strikes out of these things is incredible. Upon reaching the carpet gives and allows that this downward movement, unlike regular carpets hard. It's the closest I've ever been on the weed.
