What type of cleaning solution should I use in my golf club grips?
I would make my grips a little more sticky. I heard that if clean, it helps. However, do not ruin the grip of themselves. The type of grip that I have is a "Golf Pride – Sofftie. I do not want to go out and buy any "SPECIAL" type of cleaner … I would use all kinds of household cleaners.
It can be as simple as the soapy water. Scrub them with a good soapy cloth and wipe with a clean towel to dry. You can brush with a Brillo pad or very fine sandpaper to Tackie, although I can not forget sandpaper in a grip like Sofftie. Make a habit during playback (especially in hot weather) to maintain a moist hand towel to wipe down with fists, then dry end to end. A little attention to their preservation for a while, but it should change grips at least annually or each season very active players.
