How do I know if I'm the PGA material?
im 20 years old and have been playing golf in the year a little less than now, and I'm shooting on a handicap 4, and I just want to know if I have a chance. My results are getting lower every time I play, but I do not know how to begin. I know about Q school, but how can I participate in local competition and work my way so I feel safe putting money in the Q school? Any help would be appreciated.
If they are 4 in less than a year, is a phenomenal start. BUT it is far from being ready to play golf throughout the state amateur, however, much less than the PGA. If you are entitled to a 4, you are 9.12 strokes per round off the mark of the best players in the world. Gakuen Q is not even on their radar yet. Play in some local amateur events. Trying to qualify for the State Am. Play as much as it can find and afford, and see how fast stacked. Unlucky job and good.
