It really depends on what type of career you're talking about. There are many golf-related careers. there is that gardeners take care of the course and keep everything green and stay the course in good playing condition. There are instructors who teach the game of golf. There are people who sell equipment, people that make or repair equipment. Caddies. It really helps to narrow it down to that one is looking. However, if it is to play professionally then skills that was needed was a good swing. ability to read the course conditions. good shot. understanding how the different clubs and different techniques affect ball flight. It helps to have strength, flexibility, coordination and patience. There are different options to play professionally. In the U.S. common options are the PGA Tour, which is the highest level of men's golf and the lever of the day, down the Nationwide Tour. For golfers over 50 have the option of playing on the Champions Tour and the LPGA women there. People can also play on Canadian or European Tours. There are other career options as well and played in many different environments and an environment that only are limited by our creativity. As for how much money you can do it all depends on where you play, how many tournaments you play and how well you play. Play professionally is a show based on income so while some only have a few thousand in a year, some make millions. There are probably a need for professional golfers in the future and will definitely be a need for other careers in golf. Golf has become a very popular game that anyone can play, so there will always be a need for people to work in the golf industry.
