why do i keep digging in my down swing in golf?
i watch slow motion videos and got the motion down but on my down swing my club keeps digging into the ground or i hit the middle of the ball ….. any help will be appreciated sites to help or just experience thanks much ^_^
if your problem is that you are hitting it fat (too far behind the ball and too much grass), then a good drill to help you is to tee the ball up like you would a driver and hit your irons off of that tee. with the ball being elivated, it forces you to pick the ball off of the tee instead of hit down on it to get it into the air. if you do still try to hit down on the ball while on the tee, you will either miss or hit it way off of the top of the clubface, giving you immediate feedback.
