When I go to college can I join the woman’s golf team or do you have to get a scholar ship for golf to be on the team.
I am not sure on what college I will be attending but I love to play golf and I am getting better at it. Would they let me try out for the team?
Also, do you know any colleges that have a good woman’s golf team?
A scholarship is just a way schools attract the top athletes. A scholarship pays for some or even all of your tuition, fees, room & board, etc.
There’s no requirement that a person receive a scholarship to be eligible to compete in college sports. Due to the restrictions on the number of scholarships that schools can provide, most college athletes are just ordinary students.
So, yes, they’ll let you try out for the golf team.
