Golf in Colorado?
I am planning a trip to Colorado in early September, especially to play golf (but does'nt know yet), so I wondered if any of you could give us some tips on the best part of the state of residence, given that others want to go shopping or sightseeing, etc, while I'm slaving over 18 holes. Also the climate at this time of year and the nearest airport. I know I could dig around online news, but I would like to hear firsthand from people who either live there or visited for a short period. Thanks in advance. I stayed in Colorado for a golf course homes in September, two years ago. I stayed in Denver with my girlfriend. It was great. Take a look at the Arrowhead Golf Course. Is the course of the most photographed in the U.S.. The course has some memorable holes of golf and "maybe" the landscape of the most memorable golf everywhere. See also Trace fossil and Ridge at Castle Pines. Just Broadmoor south of Denver, I do not play there and I have regretted ever since. For things that tourists, visiting Pikes Peak, Seven Falls, Rocky Mountain National Park, Cave of the Winds … Denver is a great city. Rockies and perhaps before the Broncos season (I can not imagine much care for American sports … but the atmosphere is great). We went rafting: http://www.dvorakexpeditions.com/ was impressive too. We live in New England and Colorado, has been a godsend compared to here. I returned from a year working in Northern Europe, for you, vacations are incredibly cheap … assuming you can get cheap airfare. In September prices are great. You will need a rental car … Shopping is good that Denver is a real "trend" of the city. City has an area Nice shopping, including adjoining towns and cities … Good Luck.
