Are people having problems with his VW Golf or other model?
I just purchased a VW Golf and now MIL light came. I checked the manual and said it can be b / c the car was idleing. I idle the car shortly before it went on. Are people having problems with his VW fickle? I've been looking at the reviews for the VW Golf and look bleak. I have one miles 54000 2003 VW Golf
Idle will not turn the check engine light. A layer of gas that is not properly adjusted may illuminate the MIL light. Apart from that you have to get the car diagnosed by a team of 2 or OBD VAG COM VW. What engine do you have? TDI will be the least likely problem at least with my experiences. 2000-2002 were very bad in terms of quality control.
