Golf Wedge Bounce-beginners?
It's bigger bounce for beginners? Especially for the wedges of 60 degrees (I want a Vokey)? Or rebound only refer to the lie that you are playing? I'm debating between 58.08 and 60.04. I was thinking about a combination 56.10-14 and 60.4. I'm not a great player (mid-90s on a good day), however, I take a lot of lessons recently and my short game has improved and I can not wait to try all that in a course. I am determined to improve, so I know that 60 degrees is for advanced players, but I love hitting loft and am willing to practice. Is 4 too late? Or only question about lying? I
The most important thing here is to understand what is and how it works rebound. And there is no free lunch when it comes to rebound that is, no club is ideal for all circumstances and lies. For example, in soft sand, you will want to bounce up and drive is tight, you want low bounce. I recommend getting wedges with the average amount of bounce and then concentrate on learning how to manage the club ball position, position, etc to make the club better for all situations. Sit the wedge in a hard surface such as tiles. See how the art is out of the earth? Thats rebound. Notice how the lead is superior or inferior to move his hands more forward or backward. (this is actually done by changing the position of ball, not the hand position) Also, open the face and see the amount of bounce you get. I hope this is a good start. Good luck!
