The best vacation for two young people in the southeastern U.S.? (Orlando / Miami too far)?
I have a 1-2 night getaway with my boyfriend this weekend, somewhere peaceful but fun if he wished. We are in Atlanta, GA, so I was hoping it could lead somewhere within 6 hours from us. Originally thought that the best place would be in Hilton Head SC which is only about 5 hours away, but when I was reviewing the site, seems that caters to 40 + years old. We are in our early 20s and do not mind going to restaurants or golfing. We either want a place with plenty of nightlife, Nice station or stay in and spend all our time. Does not it seem as if many resorts in Hilton Head. Will we be forced to go to Florida? Is there another good place to go? Destin? Myrtle Beach? Any hidden treasures in GA? Thanks!
as couple only has one day, maybe you should try a coastal city like Savannah.
