Golfing holidays in the UK?
Hi All,
I’m looking to book a golfing holiday in either England or Wales for the weekend of 23/24 August 2008. There’s just the 2 of us and we’re looking to head out for 2 nights and play atmost 2 18 hole rounds. The only issue is that out budget isnt exactly the largest!! We’re looking to spend a total of about £200-250 between both of us.
Just wondering if you could advice on good places to go (where we could do a bit of sightseeing as well) and would not be too expensive. What will be even better is if you can recommend any websites through which I could book online.

Lullingstone golf course orpington kent/London is a lovely course but does not have a hotel so you can just find a travel inn or something nearby. Has nearby train station to see London.
