Throat pain while exercising?
Greetings all,
for the past couple of weeks i’ve been experiencing pain in my throat that seems to be induced by exercise/weight lifting. To pinpoint it, the pain seems to be coming from my adams apple. it lasts for upwards of 3 hours and its a scary feeling. I’ve had to leave the gym 1/2 way into my workout because it felt like my throat was closing and i would get all panic-y. i never had any history of asthma EVER. My sister said it could be my neck muscles but it doesn’t feel muscular. it feels like i have a golf ball stuck in my throat.

You’re over doing it with the amount of weights your using. Use less weights until your body can adjust to the formation of your muscles. You’re probably tearing your muscles when you’re working on your chest, your throat would suffer internal injuries when your focus on your chest & shoulders. If you’re taking any pills that enhance your workout-cut that out and stay with drinking a lot of water. Their are breathing technics that can help while you workout. Try to get a personal trainer @least for one day. Also, your muscles use a percent of water like the rest of your system.
