Blinkx TV is a search engine that helps you find audio, video and podcasts using not only keywords and phrases, but also content in the actual clips you 're looking for. For example, if you wanted to find Kermit the Frog's "It's Not Easy Being Green", you might type in "having to go each day the color of the leaves ", and Blinkx be able to bring what you are looking not only for the use of their content, but the concept behind the content — spoken word (or in this case the letter).
What is the problem? The agreement is an agreement designed to allow publishers, authors, and earnings from Google of works in Google Books. So far, so good. The sticking point is what happens with "orphan works". These are books that are no longer in print, but still have a copyright. Under the agreement, Google assumes the books should be available in full unless the holders of rights say otherwise.
They have created group to try to find rights holders and pay them their share of the income future, but probably not many of orphan works that remain unclaimed, and opponents argue that this gives Google an unfair advantage when it comes to the rights published.
Google contends that its agreement is not exclusive, so that other publishers are free to enter into agreements of their own. That was an argument that the water was when I tried the Yahoo! Trying to AdSense, so I'm not sure how well it works in this case
