There was a man of Zorah, of the family of Dan, whose name was Manoah and his wife was barren and bare not.
And the angel of the Lord appeared to women, and said, Behold, thou art barren, and not wear, but you have to think, and have a child.
Now therefore, be careful, I pray thee, and drink are not wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: For, behold, thou shalt conceive and bear a son, and you will not shave his head because the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb: Shah and begin to save Israel from the hand of the Philistines. Judges 13:2-5
Samson was called to a special ministry
Samson was called, appointed and anointed by God with a special and unique anointing. Samson had an anointing to kill people. God called Samson to deliver his people and stands over him anointing unusual. I do not think we've seen anything like it before or since. It was a unique anointing where the glory of God would fall upon him. Under the anointing of God, which was to do great and wonderful things that were beyond man's natural capacity.
And the woman bore a son and named him Samson, and the child grew, and the Lord blessed him. And the Spirit of the Lord began to move him in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol. Judges 13:24, 25
We see the anointing of God would fall upon him and at one point was going to do extraordinary things under the power of God.
The key to the anointing of Samson
Samson I had to respect the Nazarene vow not wine or strong drink. I did not want a hairdresser all her life. He let his hair grow long. Razor was not going to touch the head.
In the life of Samson, who was the key to the anointing. For each subject, there is a key, a secret, and for each and every person is different thing. For Samson it was his hair. So as you can be anything. The Bible says the Spirit of God moved on him sometimes. He would be produced and enter into what God had for him.
Reduced to the point of his fall
It is interesting that Samson is remembered for his great ministry, but rather by his fall. If you ask people in the street or the mall or wherever we went, "Do you know about Samson?" immediate answers coming back, "Yes. I also know about Delilah. "
This great man of God was reduced to the same thing that caused his downfall. This is the case of certain great men of God today day. If we were to mention their names, many forget all the wonderful things God has done through his ministry and immediately reduce each man in the place, time and date of his fall.
So Samson, for all years since his fall, is remembered by someone who knows their story by a woman Dalila name. I think all children of God's life is a Delilah. I'm not necessarily saying it's a woman. However, a Delilah, however, remains a Delilah. For some, it might be pride, for others it could be a genius, an angry, or anything else that control of their lives.
Rodney Howard Browne feels that God has called to teach the body of Christ, for example, how to create an atmosphere in the church through worship Father, Son and Holy Spirit, so that the presence of God can be welcomed and that He can touch their children as they see fit. Jesus said that if he gets up then he will draw all men to myself. Our job is to lift him up and not ashamed of the Word of God or the Spirit of God.
