John J. Pershing Trivia should be interesting for anyone interested in American military history, as it is one of the most important figures in the history of the army of this country. John J. Pershing held the highest rank of life that any soldier has concluded, "General of the Armies". But did you know that in 1976, Congress passed a law that changed was that the highest-ranking soldier who ever lived? For the sake of reverence for the founding father, the act stated that no soldier in history or the future of the country would never be considered in excess to George Washington.

John J. Trivia Pershing must extend beyond the list of his triumphs and achievements, and include data on his early life. Like many of the greatest soldiers have been, he was a cadet at West Point, enrolling at the Academy in 1882. He rose quickly through the ranks and became the first captain, a cadet at the Academy, was the highest ranking possible. As befitted his rank was a part of the honor guard at the funeral of President Grant.
Pershing served in many campaigns military. He fought the Apaches, and became known as one of the most accurate shooters from the army. He left Sioux uprising, and was present at Wounded Knee. He also spent time as a military instructor until his return to active duty.
John Pershing also served in the Spanish war in Latin America and the Philippines, and in 1903 Theodore Roosevelt began to lobby for its promotion. In 1905, due to the increases have been delayed to promote Pershing, Roosevelt surprised everyone by using his presidential powers to promote Pershing directly to the rank of brigadier general. In World War I, Pershing became the commander of hosts from 1917 to 1918. It was in 1919 he was promoted to the rank of General of the Armies of the United States.
