Looking to buy a set of ping irons. My question concerns the colored dot.?
I read all the ads is an orange or red or blue or black or green. What is the point of color means?
The only difference is the lie of the club. Red Dot is a flat grade point black is standard. Blue Dot is a straight grade. The lie of the club refers to how flat bottom club at impact. If the toe of the club is too much air on impact, they tend to hit the ball left. If the heel is too much in the air on impact, they tend to hit the ball to the right. The color code is only for the lie of the club, but it is very important 150 meters because if the lie is not an actual club, the ball is 20 feet off-line (no fault of your swing). So the clubs because the clubs are good, then Fit PING rotate and have (lied) to you. It's just to see you get some balls and make a small adjustment if necessary.
