DOT approved motorcycle half helmets are quickly becoming the most popular type of motorcycle helmet. Fashioned after the German motorcycle helmet, these helmets small and light weight are among the best software available today for the motorcyclist.

This may be the deciding factor in some cases as to whether it may or may not wear a helmet on some states that require helmets to be worn when riding a motorcycle.
