TaylorMade R9 Series Features Flight Control Technology
Innovation has always been the hallmark of TaylorMade golf clubs, TaylorMade R9 and the series introduced in early 2009 is no exception. The new series includes R9, R9 TP, R9 R9 460 and 460 TP driver, and R9 and R9 TP fairway woods. (TP Tour is preferred). They are, probably the most customizable and adjustable clubs on the market.
The main innovation of the series TaylorMade R9 is a feature called Control Flight Technology (FCT). CTF allows the golfer to establish the loft, lie and face angle of eight different positions. Combining technology with weights CBC TaylorMade mobile (available in TaylorMade drivers R9, R9 except 460 model), and golfers have the ability to assign flight of the ball from side to side a maximum of 75 yards.
That's a lot of customization options. In fact, with eight positions and three options for weight, some have called the TaylorMade R9 "24 drivers in one." According to TaylorMade, adjustments can be accomplished in a few seconds.
A couple of turns of the wrench with special screws White TaylorMade can help straighten a slice or a hook ugly seemingly uncontrollable. Or, as TaylorMade in its website, "Adjustment of the head. Adjusting weight. Totally better."
marketing hype? Maybe. (Is Every golfer Tiger Woods, but never fully optimized?) However, early reviews of golf equipment, golf and independent Web sites and comments from PGA Tour players, like Kenny Perry and Pat Perez (see below) indicate the series TaylorMade R9 is the real deal.
Another feature touted Fujiko Series graphite shaft TaylorMade R9 engine with high inertia Council Technology (HIT), designed to give additional momentum trees for more distance. The size of the clubhead R9 drivers is comparable to other drivers TaylorMade SuperQuad R7 as. However, the R9 is not as big as TaylorMade burner.
In addition, CBC count (but not movable weights) R9 TaylorMade Fairway Woods are available in both right and left handed models and include loft options of 13, 15, 17 and 19 degrees. It also comes standard with a 70 gram graphite shaft Motore Fujikura.

PGA Tour Pro Pat Perez is also a true believer. Perez won the Bob Hope Classic 2009 with a TaylorMade driver in his bag R9. He was a veteran of the first PGA Tour victory.
