Am I entitled to file a civil suit against my apartment complex?
Experienced serious damage to the roof due to Hurricane Ike. Limit temporarily patched up and fixed permanently three months later, but not the roof of the building complex. Storm last weekend (the rain, just heavy) resulted the roof, once again collapse. Temporarily fixed. I'll be back tonight from a trip and guess what? … Again, it's down, but this time the damaged mattresses water. I want the money for that and a week's rental value due to unsafe living conditions.
I do not believe, and here is why. The administration has tried to fix their position at the appropriate time would seem to show good faith about addressing them. You should have looked in renters insurance to cover damage the hurricane.
