Flowmaster Help!?
I installed a flowmaster series 80 in my 2002 Chev Camaro 3800 about 3 or 4 months, which was usually very strong, but now there is noise coming out of the muffler, what is the problem? my performance is suffering too!
As one of the problems we have is the amount of flow that moves through engine exhaust. The 3800 series should be a V6, sometimes with the system, can kill and cause problems with high flow mufflers, because the engine needs again pressure to operate properly. Did you get the chip upgrade the equipment needed to make a change?? I have a 1985 Camaro IROC Z28 that I modified to yield and I had to change the size of the injectors, fuel regulator and reprogrammed the computer to go from one factory 5.0 (305) TPI to a 5.7 (350) TPI, because the V8 is active enough to benefit from exhaust high flow muffler. I tried the 3.0 V6 flowmaster on my Ranger and caused me enough trouble that I had be removed and reinstalled the OEM.
