Tiger Woods Average Golf Score

Algebra problem help?

can someone please help me with this?

Tiget Woods had scores of 63, 68, and 72 for three rounds of a golf tournament.

A: Let x represent his score on the fourth round. Write a symbolic rule that expresses his average score after four rounds of golf

B: to be competitive in the tournament, Tiger must maintain an average of about 66. Use the symbolic rule from part A to determine what he must score on the fourth round to achieve a 66 average for the tournament.

(I’ve been trying a whole bunch of different methods, but nothing has been helping.)

A.)

average score = (63+68+72+x)/4

B.)
average = 66 = (63+68+72+x)/4
66*4 = 63+68+72+x
264-63-68-72 = X
61 = X
