Indeed, classical sheet as it is, but I still think it's the best iron for golfers of medium scale. Why? I'll give the answer.
The TaylorMade Tour Preferred Irons offer a masterful blend of modern technology and classic design.
First, its perspective.
A classic blade shape provides for a thin topline and shorter blade length from heel to toe for a clean, compact direction, while the shallow water redistributes the weight lower chambers of hell and toe pads for increased stability and solid feel. The tour-configured sole was designed with the participation of tour professionals to optimize turf interaction for maximum playability. TaylorMade's patented Inverted Cone Technology provides faster ball speed for greater portion of the face (one point more sweet) that resulted in more consistent off-center hits while the vibration management cavity badge creates finely tuned sound and feedback for smooth and solid feel that is very satisfying.
Second performance
What I really like about the Tour Preferred irons, is the strength that they felt at impact. I realized immediately, as the club to respond, in terms sound and feel at impact, like hitting a forged iron. The next thing that really made this club to stay away, is how easily the club simply glide through the grass. During my tests, I used these clubs both on the streets and moderately rough, and had no problems with the excavation exclusive club in the soil for my swing. As mentioned before, this was due to softening of the final and the front edge of the sole of the club. The results were surprising and purer ball really appreciate this moderate rough.
