The yin and yang of fashion golf (Golf Fashion The story) is clearly a tech or traditional. Of course, the opposing forces often interconnected so invisible. The first evokes the classic look of Ben Hogan and country club life intense Newport Beach and Coral Gables: cotton knit shirts (A-mercerized to preserve the natural softness and drape) the fine linen shorts silk stripe, cable cardigans, Fair Isle sweater, cream, and Old Timey several peaks, including a new look vintage monogram golfers to play what is said to require 69,000 points (not by hand, we hope).
The second line, RLX is all about performance and cutting-edge stretch polyester with train, "Air" on the Striped shirts, bright colors (raspberry, green color saturation), and pockets to hold your clever shirts and stuff. Which approach is the winner? RLX collection is now 40 percent turnover of golf, according to managers Ralph Lauren, compared to only 8 percent for several years (he refused to say exactly when). This seems to indicate an explosive growth in performance clothing (RLX) at the expense of the classics. However, cut into sales RLX Polo Golf? Ralph Lauren executives would say no. As mentioned above, there are interactions between the two approaches. RLX is the line of classical pieces – a cricket sweater, for example, or Argyle Vest – Polo Field and has performance characteristics. Therefore, the trajectory of the mode is unclear.
More importantly, it is a matter of choice or something. Whatever your style of leadership, a golfer is not necessarily very traditional wear every time you play golf, just like people do not wear suits each context. The player chooses their appearance depending on many factors that are their golf buddies, the level of prestige of the club or course it is, or will not see your boss or clients important in the field, time, and so on.
The fashion reality is that kids feel comfortable in traditional courses, in some contexts and more modern informal or others.
HAPPY FEET
The largest manufacturer of golf shoes, FootJoy has problems can be similar in maintaining a traditional approach, but do not miss the younger, watching the performance. This week, FootJoy has introduced a new performance shoe Golf, FJ Sport designed for the player "for bold, athletic-inspired golf shoes."
