There is nothing wrong with a little white lie, right?
Therefore give an optimistic message for our team to everyone is committed. Why share the reality that we are in a mess of what we admit, even to ourselves? Only make matters worse.
Or too much promises, our chances of winning a new customer. Let's find a way to meet their needs and that we will love only when we know.
Maybe we stretch the truth about ourselves – from our experience, our skills. We are confident that we can learn on the job and do it well – have ever before.
Little White Lies can lead to big big problems.
When we set an expectation – the expectation is taken as a commitment. If you set the expectation of a little white lie – we begin our commitment to integrity.
Sooner or later the truth comes out. In the worst cases, we lose the respect and confidence of those who 'cheat'. In the best case, hidden by wave with only a minor – we find that the customer needs, even if it did take a month or so. But I still lost some confidence when the truth emerged.
At best cases – nobody knows that they are little white. We Get By and live to tell another – the next time you do not want to face reality.
White Lies quickly get dirty dark secrets.
No matter what we think them white lies are still found. We can not base our business or our lives, on falsehoods. When we left an incorrect basis, we are setting for the fall.
Just read the business section and we will still see examples of this sad, sad truth. The names you see there not begin to tell their lies end. They started with small steps in line with the truth.
As part of my new Decade of CC – I'm seeing myself for the lies. I took a good hard look and realized I was guilty of reinforcing through that line – and do not like. It's not great – just baby steps. But no more. I'm faithful to my truth. And yes, I learning to share more kindly, as part of the trip.
