Bleach use to remove stains in a pure cotton white jersey left huge brown spots (such as burns from an iron). Is there any way to remove them?
The same happened to me last week when I needed to launder two cotton shirts. You, like me and many of us have iron in the water. Bleach attracts iron. The more iron, the worse the stain. I realized immediately and put them back into the washer with some iron out and everything. If dry, the stain set. However, buy some iron oxide or other output remover and give it a try. It makes me sick when something like this.
